progdolphin A subtly technical form of progressive death metal that leans on melancholy to let its dark melodies sing—man I wish I had heard of this act sooner. If one can imagine that Control Denied had continued its existence and found a way into the moody prog of an act like The Contortionist, that might come close. But really, just listen to Mindwork!! Keep an eye out, the best has yet to come. Favorite track: Last Lie Told.

TheEliteExtremophile It’s solid, proggy death metal that ticks all the right boxes in balancing Opeth-y melodicism with the brutality of acts like Hoth.
